If I died today, what would you do tomorrow?
If I walked away, how sad would you be? If things changed and I was gone, what wake would be left behind? If life suddenly vanished, what hope would show? If I am to be, what do you make of me? When I cry, you laugh and yet you share with me? When time turns, does the world end? Or does it show faith, for the man standing on limb? If I gave up on hope, how shallow should I be? If I came to be eternal, what love would give to me? If I shed a tear for all that’s lost, then who cries at my day’s cost? Emotions ride high and pain rides low, when will it be? I want time to show, where can I give my all? What faith brings when hate fill my heart? Tears of alone, am I in a crowded room? Standing bright and happy as I can, how lost can I be? When it is with you, that I stand! |
