So it's been a while; I know big surprise right? Well, I have had much going on and have been in the process of organizing as much of my life as I can. Between work, my poor love life, my personal life, and a few other things that I see no need to mention just yet, I have managed to get a few things straightened out and moving forward. For you, this means, (very soon), a constant set of blogs.
As this site was original put together with the intention of being a writer's learning space; it was also intended to reach out to gamers and maybe inspire others as I was inspired. Mine came from you tube videos, my at some point to be ex-wife, and my own desire to do something that I happen to think would be really cool. What's that, you are possibly asking.... Well, on top of writing and working on being a good writer (which is coming along well and I'll eventually post completed stories in segments on here, I have decided to move forward with another phase of my gaming life. I.... am starting a "podcast" that will be available here on a regular schedule once things get going. The plan is simple. I want to setup a themed day and schedule for the week. The start of that is that I, and a few friends, are going to be starting down the road of a Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition campaign that is to take place in a Homebrew world known as Mortengarde. I have a fair amount of detail in this world and thought it would cool to publish it as a D & D world one day... maybe one day... but not today. We will be meeting on Sundays to play for roughly 3 to 5 hours. I will be recording these sessions and learning how to edit them and streamline them in to a decent podcast. They will then be made available here on Monday nights. Monday's will become known as RPG Monday OR D & D Monday. This is the start and I have not moved forward with the rest of my plan to regulate and schedule my posts. Once Mondays are going on a good and regular basis, I want to do Storybook Wednesdays. This will be when I start to post completed short stories piece meal and see how that goes. That's all for now... talk to you soon! |
